On Governor Hogan’s mandate, the Regional Manufacturing Institute (RMI), a trade organization focused on Maryland Manufacturers, has teamed up with the Maryland Energy Administration to provide technical and financial assistance for maintaining a safe manufacturing operation.

Manufacturers can potentially reduce the risk of business disruption from COVID-19 and other respiratory pathogens by improving facility airflow, filtration & ventilation. RMI’s NO-COST Manufacturing Disruption Mitigation Assistance Program (MDMAP) can help Maryland manufacturers with this process.

RMI’s team of engineering professionals will:

  • Provide an in-depth onsite assessment of a manufacturer’s site and system operations related to ventilation, air flow, and HVAC systems.
  • Identify solutions (e.g., HVAC system upgrades) and a strategy for improving facility air flow, filtration & ventilation.
  • Connect companies to the Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) for assistance with funding resources for HVAC and other air flow equipment upgrades.

THIS IS A NO-COST PROGRAM FOR MARYLAND MANUFACTURERS
