The company has been manufacturing in Frederick County for 60 years, and is working on a new warehouse and office in Emmitsburg expected to open this year. Touted as “The World’s Safest Pool Edge,” Federal Stone’s product specifications are incorporated in all Marriott chains. The company’s Thurmont facility is covered in 160 solar panels that power their manufacturing work and provide surplus energy back to the Town of Thurmont.
